Repair of Turn signal switch

Posted by

I had some troubles with a poorly working turn signal switch.  It had no good feel to it and it did not came back when leaving the corners.

To get to the switch you have to remove the steering wheel, what is not an easy task even with a steering wheel puller. It was so tight on the shaft. But after getting angry it finally came loose.

As turned out there was a little spring that was not mounted correctly inside the switch. Re seated the spring and the switch was like new again!

Also repaired some ground points of the side marker lights. They did  not work also. But now they do.
